In the fragrant fields of Chowk Sarwar Shaheed, where the air carries whispers of Multan’s rose harvests, two childhood friends dreamed of bottling Pakistan’s soul. Dr. Hussnain Akram and Dr. Affan Ahmad – Doctor’s by training, perfumers by passion – founded Indus Aromas after a 3-year odyssey to master the alchemy of scent.

Between 2020-2023, Hussnain and Affan:
Tested 217 fragrance formulations in their makeshift Multan lab
Partnered with local farmers to source indigenous ingredients (Multani rose, Bahawalpur oudh)
Trained with attar masters in Franci’s historic perfume markets
Surveyed 1,500+ Pakistanis to understand scent preferences across provinces
Their breakthrough? Creating humidity-resistant fragrances that last 8+ hours in Pakistani summers – a feat global brands never achieved.
